"A Great Experience at Rome’s Main Train Station Stazione Termini has really improved over the years — it’s now much more than just a train station. The new shopping area and food court make it a wonderful place to spend some time before your train. You can find many small restaurants offering authentic Italian dishes, coffee, and desserts, with plenty of variety and excellent quality. The station is clean, modern, and well organized, with clear signs that make it easy to find your platform or connection. The mix of shops, cafés, and restaurants creates a lively atmosphere that feels safe and pleasant. Whether you’re traveling or simply passing by, Termini is now a great spot to enjoy Italian food, do a bit of shopping, and experience the energy of Rome. Highly recommended!"
"It is a very clean and organized place. The military and police intensity makes you feel safe. You can go all over Italy by trains."
"Hält dieser Bus in Leipzig? Stazione Termini is the main railway station of Rome, Italy. It is named after the district of the same name, which in turn took its name from ancient Baths of Diocletian, which lies across the street from the main entrance. It is Italy's busiest railway station and the fifth-busiest in Europe, with a traffic volume of approximately 150 million passengers per year, and with 850 trains in transit per day."
"After being away from Rome for almost three years, I was genuinely surprised when I returned and saw how clean and organized Termini has become. The entire station feels refreshed, redesigned, and much more pleasant than before. The new layout is bright, tidy, and far more welcoming. A really impressive improvement."
"More than a train station!! Termini is a jewel of architecture and “Gioia di Vivere” (search for the translation !!) … get there an hour before catching your train and enjoy the second floor and all the great shops, restaurants, coffee shops. Impressive!! Italy at its best … mamma mia !!"
"My first visit to Stazione Termini was back in 1988–91, and it left me with unforgettable memories. The station has always been full of life — busy, a little chaotic, but full of that unmistakable Roman energy. It felt like the true gateway into the city. One of the things I still remember fondly are the pizza spots right next to the station — simple, local, and absolutely delicious. After a long train ride, grabbing a hot slice there was one of the highlights of my trip. Even now, I can almost taste it when I think back. I would love to visit again and see how much has changed. I’ve heard the station has modern shops and services today, but I’m sure the atmosphere — and hopefully those amazing pizza places — still makes it a special part of Rome. For me, Termini isn’t just a train station, it’s a piece of travel nostalgia — a mix of movement, food, and memories that I’d be happy to relive."
